Among the various resources you need to have available in order to do effective Bible study, I recommend you have a select group of charts & graphics on hand for your own reference as well as sharing with others. A good study Bible should have a lot of helpful graphics, but are some which I keep on my computer and printed out to tucked into my Bible.
